Broadcast engineers work with video format converters, audio embedders, routers, and a variety of additional signal processing and distribution equipment—but what they are responsible for is the operation of an entire video transport and processing chain. The complexity of using different interfaces to control different equipment can cause delays and increase the risk of errors. Unnecessary complexity is costly in studio control
